Watching The Blog

We are home and healthy, but I just hadn't taken the time to download pictures and write a post. I'm still feeling overwhelmed with pictures of Christmas break festivities (even though we didn't even take that many). Here is a clip of Katelyn watching another video of herself on our blog. She really loves to do so. This video doesn't capture how completely excited she is to watch herself sometimes, but at least you can see her chuckle at herself.

She also reaches for the mouse when it finishes, because she knows that is how I start a new video for her.

Sick

We got to visit Michigan to see lots of family over the Christmas break. About an hour before we got in the car to head back to Naperville, I started showing "signs" of the stomach flu. Jason went home without us, so he could go to work the next day. He got sick that night too. He was just at home and alone. :( Katelyn and I are still in Michigan, but we're crossing our fingers in hopes of going home and seeing Jason tonight. (Any time I think we'll head back someone else ends up getting sick and thwarting our plans.) I'll try to give an update on our holiday adventures as soon as we're home.

Luckily, Katelyn has not been sick yet. I'm very grateful, and I hope she can avoid it completely.

Christmas Morning

Katelyn's cousin James was given a pop-up School Bus for Christmas, and both loved it.
