Utah Trip

I am very blessed to be able to fly to Utah (tonight) for a wedding of a wonderful friend. I am very much looking forward to going, despite the fact that it is supposed to continue snowing while I'm there. (76 degrees on our porch at this moment)

Jason has wonderful family, and my being able to go is due in huge part to their generosity. Thank you Steph for coming to watch Katelyn. It makes me feel completely at ease to leave her in such capable hands. Thank you Aunt Carolyn and Aunt Sheryl for always opening your home to us. I can't wait to visit with you.

I'm going to miss Katelyn and Jason a great deal, so luckily it is a short trip. I know that pictures and videos of Katelyn are the best parts of having a blog, so I added a couple of those too.


Katelyn always wants to wear our clothes that she finds. We let her put on this t-shirt of Jason's from a LONG time ago. She was very proud of herself.

We got a bike trailer for Katelyn with our tax refund money. LOVE it. She loves riding in it. She even likes wearing the helmet. I love being able to ride a bike again. I wasn't prepared for how much it would hurt me after not riding for a long time. No pain, no gain.

Back Tracking

Katelyn has been doing some major back tracking with potty training. Bummer. She has been sick, so I keep hoping that is the reason and she'll do better again once she feels better. Hopefully.

Happy Birthday!

Today marks 25 years since Jason was born. He is the most incredible person I know. I love him with all my heart! Happy Birthday!

Dance Dance Revolution

Katelyn loves to play DDR with us. She pulls the dance pads out many times a day. This isn't her most exciting dancing, but the video shows that she now stomps with one foot at a time after watching Mom and Dad play.

Napping Update

Katelyn has still been napping. It has been very nice for me. We've had a lot of excitement in the last 2 weeks. We have gone to Michigan (twice) to visit family as well as have family (my mom and 4 of my siblings) come stay with us for a few days during their spring break. We'll see what happens as we resume more of our regular schedule.
