Sick

Poor Katelyn is sick. She was up many, many times last night crying. Between 2 and 3 am I gave her motrin and ended up just sleeping with her the rest of the night. This morning I took her temperature before she got motrin again, and it was just over 102 F. My poor little girl. She is still very nice for feeling so sickly.

On a happier note, we got to spend much of yesterday together as a family. Jason had a midterm in the morning, and then he had the rest of the day off. We went swimming. Here is a short video of Katelyn in the pool. She always cracks up when she "floats" on her back.

Katelyn also found the coolest fountain while we were on campus. It is a fountain full of water, and that makes it very cool in Katelyn's mind to begin with. When we got closer, Katelyn realized it also had a giant ball in the middle! She was very excited.

Track Meets

I am afraid we may have spent a little too much time at track meets recently. :)

She has been saying "set" for a long time now, but just started completing the start commands. "Go" is a little anti-climatic, but it kind of matches her run. She cracks us up with her run. The only way to tell the difference between Katelyn's walk and her run is that she pumps her left arm while "running". The right arm doesn't move.

Luckily Katelyn seems to love attending track meets as much as I do.
